biography

Artist and researcher based in London, UK.

Based in Connected Environments at UCL, I work collaboratively to explore the use of arts-led methods for bridging knowledge systems and engaging people with questions of spatial and environmental justice. Recent projects include using thermointeractive materials to address the challenges of urban heatwaves, exploring the links between weaving and land use, and discovering the stories of ancient trees. My work borrows from other disciplines and cultural forms including human geography, computer science and theatre. I completed a practice-related PhD thesis about the spatial politics of Invisible Theatre at the Slade School of Fine Art, UCL, with financial support from the AHRC and UCL. I am available for talks, lectures and workshops – contact me to find out more.
